Online / Mobile Banking Disclaimer

• SBSU cannot enforce two (or more) signature restrictions with online withdrawals. Call us to limit online rights for yourself or others to View Only.
• Call us for Loan Payoffs! (435)865-2300 (loans) or (435)586-4100 (mortgages). Payoff amounts shown online do not include legal fees and will not pay the loan in full.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized transactions to (a) help limit your liability and (b) help us prevent more fraud.
• View Only: If you do not want to transfer funds through our Online Banking platform, contact us to limit rights for yourself or others to View Only.

Security

• Money Mule Alert: Do not allow your account to be used for any of the following: (a) receiving and forwarding money that belongs to others, (b) converting money sent by others into cryptocurrency, or (c) sending money to romantic partners that you have not physically met. These are all forms of money laundering. Your account will be closed if such activity is detected.
• Do not reveal your usernames, passwords, codes or challenge answers to anyone! If you do, criminals posing as lenders or friends will log in to your account and do the following:
  • (a) Deposit counterfeit checks to temporarily inflate your account. The criminals will tell you to quickly transfer money elsewhere before the counterfeits are detected, 4 to 7 banking days later.
  • (b) Crooks may also use your Bill Pay or Zelle accounts to send money to accomplices.
• Use idle time screen locks to prevent unauthorized access to your device.
• Please contact us to turn off accounts you do not wish to see online.

Notices

• Online or Mobile Banking may not be accessible over some networks for reasons beyond the control of SBSU.
• Online account information, for various reasons, may be inaccurate and change throughout the day.
• When using SBSU’s Online / Mobile Banking you will remain subject to the terms and conditions of your network or wireless provider.
• Intellectual Property: The online system used by SBSU is provided by Fiserv, a company that provides financial software to banks across the nation. Features and services may change.

SBSU may share certain personal information and device-identifying technical data about User and User’s devices with third party service providers who will compare and add device data and fraud data from and about User and User’s devices to a database of similar device and fraud information in order to provide fraud management and prevention services and identify and block access to the applicable service or Web site by devices associated with fraudulent or abusive activity. Such information may be used by SBSU and its third-party service providers to provide similar fraud management and prevention services for services or Web sites not provided by SBSU.
